Workboat Example – Comprehensive System

Overview

This workboat comprehensive monitoring system will monitor the propulsion engine, generator, generator power, shore power, 4 tanks, the house battery bank, 5 different temperatures around the boat, 3 bilge compartments, and GPS data including position, SOG, and COG. Information is displayed at the helm using a 8” touchscreen, from the lazarette using an 8” touchscreen, and from the captain’s cabin using a 5.7” display. Alarms are programmable and sounded at the helm and captains cabin via the annunciators or buzzers. The WiFi / router allows data to be displayed onboard through a PC, smartphone or tablet device and with an Internet connection, the data can be viewed remotely. The data recorder gives a complete record of all monitored parameters and the texting module will send a text message to your phone for any programmed alert.
